Today, this week AND the whole year through.
As we celebrate National Volunteer Week April 12-18, its a time to recognize volunteers and encourage volunteering. It is about inspiring, recognizing and encouraging people to become involved in their communities. It’s about taking action and encouraging individuals in our community to be at the center of social change – discovering and actively demonstrating their collective power to make a difference.
Our MELD volunteers are special people that truly make a difference. Whether it’s to rock babies and play with the children of the young families who attend our MELD Young Moms and Dads Parenting and Support Groups families, help clean up the play grounds, do outdoor yard work, wash windows, tutor, host collection drives for needed baby and household items, tutor our families, help with our events or be on our board… the list goes on and on. We are so grateful to have your assistance and support to MELD.
